Purpose and measurement limitations

outlineGo is an Android tool for approximate, non-professional measurements and dimensioned 2D sketches. Record directions and lengths, review and edit the outline, add notes and export output files. It is intended for everyday planning and reference. It is not a surveying instrument and does not provide certified measurements, establish property boundaries or automatically scan a space into a verified plan.

Directions can be relative, magnetic or entered manually, depending on device capabilities. Lengths can be entered in metres, centimetres, feet or inches, or estimated from steps using a configurable step length. A camera view helps you aim; it does not determine distances from an image. The interface supports Polish, English, German, Spanish and French, and light, dark or system themes. Choosing a language does not change measurement units.

Sensor drift, magnetic interference, phone movement, device capabilities, step length and user input can affect results. Step-based lengths are estimates. No numerical accuracy level is promised. Do not use the app as the sole basis for surveying, construction, structural decisions, property boundaries, safety-critical work or tasks requiring verified precision. Check important dimensions with suitable equipment. See the measurement notice.

A closing edge may be calculated rather than independently measured. An area is available only for a valid closed outline. Neither output certifies the accuracy of the original measurements.

An independent return measurement, where recorded, does not automatically adjust the outline or distribute measurement error. A calculated closing edge is identified separately from a measured side. Displayed decimal places, angle snapping and manual corrections do not establish measurement accuracy; review the selected units and inputs before use.

Use, acknowledgement and local data

You may install and use the app for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and applicable Google Play terms. Use it lawfully and respect others' rights. You retain your rights in sketches and exported content.

The app asks you to accept the terms and acknowledge measurement limitations before accessing its main screens. It stores the accepted content version and date locally. Material revisions may require a new acknowledgement. This is separate from optional error reporting and does not waive mandatory consumer rights.

Sketches, notes and settings are local, without an outlineGo account or cloud synchronisation. Deleting a sketch, clearing app data or uninstalling may permanently remove them. PNG and DXF are output files, not backups that restore editable sketches. Review exports and keep copies where needed. Sketches do not transfer automatically to another device.

Notes save automatically during editing. Unfinished measurement entries and preview preferences may be retained locally for resuming work. Measuring and saving sketches do not require an internet connection. Purchases, purchase restoration, optional error reporting and opening online legal documents require the corresponding network services; exported files are shared through the Android app you choose.

Free and Plus

Free supports up to 3 saved sketches and 8 points per sketch, including the first point. PNG exports contain a watermark. Notes, pinning and corrections are included. Existing sketches are not automatically deleted if an entitlement changes.

Plus removes these product limits, removes the PNG watermark and enables DXF export. Device storage and performance constraints still apply. Plus is a one-time Google Play in-app purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks app features, not surveying services, cloud storage or a separate CAD application.

The purchase screen presents the price, applicable taxes and availability before purchase. Prices and currencies can differ by country or region. App availability and Plus purchase availability are configured separately. Availability of the app does not guarantee Plus can be purchased in the same country. Google Play restrictions and supported payment methods can affect purchases.

Purchases and restoration require internet access and the relevant Google Play services and account. A locally verified entitlement supports offline Plus use, subject to later verification or changes such as a refund. Restoration uses the Google account that made the purchase. It restores the entitlement, not local sketches, notes or settings.

A pending transaction does not unlock Plus until a completed purchase is verified. A temporary connection or store failure does not itself remove an already stored, verified entitlement. A successful later check that finds no qualifying purchase can return the app to Free, for example after a refund or when using another Google Play account. Existing sketches remain stored; Free limits apply to new sketches and additional points, while review, corrections, undo and closing remain available.

Payments and consumer rights

Google Play handles the transaction through its checkout process. Applicable Google Play terms identify the parties and purchase conditions for that transaction. Review the information shown before confirming payment.

Refund and withdrawal rights depend on the transaction and applicable law. Any consent or acknowledgement required to begin supplying digital content and affect a withdrawal right must be obtained through the applicable purchase process. The app's measurement acknowledgement alone does not waive that right. See Google Play's refund guidance.

These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights, remedies for non-conforming digital content, required updates or applicable refund or withdrawal rights. Regional legal protections continue to apply to purchases through Google Play.

Privacy and optional diagnostics

The privacy policy explains local storage, permissions, purchases, support and optional JavaScript error reporting through Sentry. Reporting is off by default and requires a separate saved choice. Refusal or withdrawal does not remove Free or Plus features. Accepting these terms does not grant diagnostic consent.

Availability and compatibility

Distribution depends on Google Play country and device availability, compatibility and applicable restrictions. These terms do not promise worldwide availability or support for every device. Hardware capabilities affect camera, sensor and step-counting features; manual entry remains available.

DXF is intended for compatible CAD software. Appearance, text and units can vary between programs. Check imported geometry and units before further work. Exporting or opening a file does not verify the underlying measurements.

The current DXF export is a 2D AutoCAD 2000 ASCII DXF (AC1015) in a local XY coordinate system, using the selected length unit. Outline geometry, point labels, length labels and notes are placed on separate layers. Length labels are text, not associative CAD dimensions, and may need manual updates after editing geometry in another program. The app does not provide DWG export, georeferenced surveying coordinates or an editable-project import or restore function for exported PNG/DXF files.

Support and complaints

For payment issues and refund requests, you can use Google Play support and its refund process. Eligibility depends on the purchase, location and applicable rules. Google Play handles payment processing; we help with outlineGo's operation, Plus entitlement and restoration. Using Google Play does not prevent you from submitting a complaint to us or exercising mandatory rights.

You can report app issues and submit complaints by email to bk.dev.mobile@gmail.com or by post to the correspondence and complaints address above. Describe the problem and the outcome you are requesting, and provide a way for us to reply. To help investigate, you may include the app version, device model, Android version and, for a purchase issue, a Google Play order reference. A specific form is not required. Do not send card details or unrelated personal data.

We respond to consumer complaints within 14 days of receipt, unless a different mandatory provision applies. We send the response by email or another durable medium. Where Polish law applies, failure to respond within the statutory period has the consequences prescribed by that law, including recognition of the complaint where applicable. We may request information needed to investigate; this does not itself extend the statutory response period.

If digital content or a digital service does not conform to the contract, a consumer may request that it be brought into conformity, free of charge, within a reasonable time and without undue inconvenience. In the circumstances provided by applicable law, the consumer may request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract. These remedies are separate from any voluntary Google Play refund policy and are not excluded by the app's measurement limitations.

Consumers can seek assistance from the competent consumer-protection bodies and access applicable out-of-court dispute-resolution procedures. If a complaint is rejected, we provide information about participation in such procedures where required by law.

Updates and responsibility

Features and compatibility may evolve as Android and devices change. We will provide information about material changes affecting rights or purchased features and comply with applicable digital-content obligations. A purchase does not promise perpetual compatibility with every future Android release or device.

You are responsible for checking inputs, using the device safely and verifying results for your intended use. Measurement limitations describe intended performance; they do not waive statutory rights. Nothing here excludes or limits liability where that would be unlawful.

Applicable law and revisions

Polish law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence. Statutory rights concerning courts and dispute resolution remain unaffected. Mandatory local requirements take precedence where they differ from these terms.

Material revisions will be dated and communicated where required. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Any separate consent required for new processing will be requested independently.
